Structure

The Advisory Board consists of entrepreneurs, governmental officials from funding agencies and representatives from a wide spectrum of professions. It guides the strategy and planning, monitor and evaluate the annual progress of OSF.

The Scientific Steering Committee consists of international panel of senior scientists (including those from SIDS). The implementation of OSF related to science and technology is under the full guidance of this committee.

The Executive Office facilitates communication with related Decade Collaborate Units (DCUs), Decade Collaborative Centres (DCCs), the general public, other Decade-affiliated programmes, and long-standing international projects.

Projects have distinct objectives and are led by scientists from key partners.

Early Career Scientist committee will be established for young ocean and climate scholars.
